This week Brooklyn has had a cold so we put the humidifier in her room. Our humidifier has a clear blue tank the water goes in. After filling the tank up and putting it in Brooklyn's room, Brooklyn said, "there are no fish in my tank." Along with her cold is a cough. She is too young for cough medicine but I have read in several places about giving your kids honey in place of cough medicine. We had never tried it before but decided to give it a try. She didn't want to take it. But after a little convincing that Pooh bear, and Nana like honey we finally got her to take it. And just so you know, it works great. For dinner last night we had biscuits and stew. Mark was putting honey on his biscuit and Brooklyn said, "Dad, don't eat my medicine." She wasn't very happy to see all of us eating her medicine.
