Easter Part 1

For Easter this year we decided to dye Easter Eggs with Kool-aid. It smelled great, but took a long to get the color, and some flavors did not produce good colors. But the kids had a good time.

Fire Station

The local fire department had a meet the Easter Bunny/tour the fire station day. We took the kids and they weren't very impressed with the bunny or the fire trucks. Brady mentioned that Uncle' Brendon's stuff is better. Here are some photos:

Great Wolf Lodge

We had a fantastic family trip the beginning of March to the Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. We met up with our great friends the Pattersons from South Dakota. We thought we were crazy taking 7 kids under 7 to an indoor water park but it actually went a lot smoother than expected. We had a wonderful time just hanging out with our kids, friends and eating Tawna's yummy snack mix. The first morning we were there we set the fire alarms off in the condo making french toast. That was an exciting memory that won't be forgotten. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the water tree house, going down slides, and playing in the wave pool. Mark talked me into a scary Tornado ride. I don't think I will ever go on anything like that again.  Besides the wonderful pool area we enjoyed the clock tower show, story time, meeting the critters, and getting yummy treats at the bakery. Thanks to Great Wolf Lodge for creating a place my whole family can enjoy no matter the age. We look forward to going again soon as well as seeing our friends again. Here are some pics from our trip.

Tyson - 6 months

This is a little late. But better late than never. Time has sure flown by. I can't believe my baby is 6 months old now and is rolling everywhere and army crawling. It's amazing how fast he can get from one end of the room to the other. He is determined to keep up with the other boys. His favorite things to play with are toys that make noise or play music and paper or game cards his siblings have left out. He is eating baby cereal and vegetables. He has tried a little bit of fruit but so far is not a big fan.

Here are his six month stats:

Height: 26 inches   25%
Weight: 15 pounds  10%
Head:  16 3/4 inches  15%

Here are pictures before his hair cut:
